This project was originally a dining room that the clients weren’t using. They came to Meg Poff Design to help them recapture the space and turn it into an office that feels more like an inviting lounge. In order to achieve this feel, we selected a dark wall color and paired it with dark woods and plush seating. The desk with bookcases provides storage and a large workspace during the work day. The paired leather chairs and white sofa under the windows creates a cozy nook for reading or enjoying conversation and refreshments in the afternoons and evenings. A custom framed gallery wall was created from a collection of photographs the clients took themselves on their travels to Africa. For added fun and a pop of color, we added an organic leaf wallpaper to the ceiling as a compliment to the African theme.

This former dining room has been transformed into a multi-functional space for both work and relaxation.
