About Meg Poff Design

Meg Poff Design helps people realize the functional and aesthetic potential in their living spaces. With such busy lives, we often forget how our environment impacts us on a daily basis and are too overwhelmed by organizing ourselves to get started. The most common comment I hear from my clients after a renovation or re-design is "why didn't I do this earlier? They lived for years thinking about how they could change their space but they didn't know the first step. Meg Poff Design simplifies this process. Even small changes like a new window treatment or change in wall color can make a big impact. We are here to make your living simpler, smarter and more beautiful. Check out our process tab for more information about getting started.

MPD Design Process

Determining when and how to get a design project started can be overwhelming. Click the steps to the right to learn more about the process.

Step 1 - Introduction

Meet to discuss the project in detail. Define the scope, budget and timing.

Step 2 - Preliminary Design

MPD presents floor plans for each space with elevations and computer created perspective drawings.

Step 3 - Design Development

With floor plans complete, the design concept is presented with material selections including paint, flooring, furniture, and window treatments.

Step 4 - Design Refine

Material selections are revised and refined. Shopping may be scheduled to view materials with local vendors. Paint selection and other construction details are sent to the builder. This portion of the project spans over several meetings.

Step 5 - Procurement

Proposals are presented for materials to be purchased. All purchases are signed off on by the client before ordering. MPD has several accounts with wholesale suppliers. Materials can be provided directly to the client through MPD.

Step 6 - Install

Installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment.
